Vacations...whether it's the beach, the mountains, whatever, it's
always more enjoyable with the ones you love!
We've been
very blessed to have been able to travel, most of which was done prior to Noah's birth, but nevertheless, have spent some
wonderful times in some wonderful places. We spent 13 glorious days in Aruba for our honeymoon, ra-cha-cha, where we
fell in love with Baby Beach & snorkeling! Our first anniversary was spent soaking up the sun & having an awesome
time in Florida, where we visited Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom & Islands of Adventure. Our second &
third anniversaries were interrupted by the military, but Jay was still able to visit Turkey, Afghanistan & Iceland.
Prior to Jay's deployment though, we had a fantastic time with Jay's parents (Jerry & Judy) in Hawaii, Kauai,
to be exact! Once Jay returned, we were off to spend a couple of weeks in Europe - - France & Italy. Jay's parents
were able to join us in France & I think we all had a great time, how could you not, it's SO romantic! While
I was 4 months pregnant with Noah, we were able to go on a Mission trip with our church, Plymouth Covenant, as part
of a Marriage Conference. That was such an amazing trip & we fell in love with the people there. They are all so
warm, gracious & giving, even though they don't have much to give. They are beautiful people & will always have
a very special place in our hearts! We hope to be able to go back again & again! For now, with Noah, our
travels mainly consist of visits to California to visit family & old friends, but once he's older, we'll
start branching out again!
